Welcome to be done each year by the new host. There should be a reference to the community section under the the link “Reunion” for all new information on the reunion. The introductions should include an opening, background information, and the vision the host has for this reunion.

Introductions should go something like this:

Hello mi familia!! I’m so excited about this years reunion. My name is La Shonda Biggs-Jones of the Rufus Clan. I’m fifth generation Rufus Clan and sixth generation Biggs/ McClain. This year I have been granted the extreme pleasure and responsibility of hosting our 26th Annual Biggs/ McClain Family Reunion. Let me tell you It’s going to be a great one. But before I get into some of the details, let me tell you a little bit about myself.

I’m married with two children and one on the way. My husband’s name is Henry Jones and my children are Rabbah and Elisha. The baby that is on the way wasn’t quit ready to come out of the closet yet. So if we have a girl her name will be Jireh and if we have a boy, his name will be Ishmael. I’m currently an Independent Business Owner which means that I take other people’s ideas and make money off of them. I am also a business consultant. I give advice on businesses. I encourage new business owners to stick with it and help them navigate the ups, downs, ends and outs of business. Sometimes this may mean that I train a new business owner on getting up and maintaining their basic website.

At this moment, I have four businesses that I am either doing myself or helping others do. And let me tell you, each of those businesses are doing remarkable things. One of those businesses happens to be a ministry. It is called Three In One Ministries where yours truly is the pastor. We are now joined under a conference in Texas under Bishops Kindred and Loretta Beck. Right now, we are working on becoming the first conference with an official travel agent or agency. Folks, this conference is just getting off the ground. We are only eight small churches but we are growing and growing quickly. So as you can see, I am a person of vision and leadership.

My vision for this years family reunion is simple. We have fun but we examine ourselves individually and collectively. I feel we have failed ourselves and each other. There was a time when we held one another accountable. There was a time when we supported each other. There was a time when God and family meant more money and possessions. We have failed our children and our grandchildren and it is time to wake up. Now we are going to have fun but we are also are going to get back o our Godly roots of family strength. We are royalty living like slum.
